As part of LVMH / Moët Hennessy, The Glenmorangie Company crafts, distributes and markets two of Scotland’s most acclaimed single malt whiskies; Glenmorangie and Ardbeg. We're recruiting a Sustainability Insights & Compliance Analyst to play a pivotal role in enhancing our commitment to sustainability by providing accurate data analysis and insights. You'll analyse key metrics, support the development of strategic plans, and collaborate with various departments to enhance our sustainability efforts working towards Net Zero.
Job responsibilities
- Collect, validate, and maintain sustainability data.
- Analyse complex datasets to uncover trends in energy consumption, carbon footprint, waste management, and sustainable practices.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders at various levels.
- Develop strategic plans with the Business Services Director to align with corporate sustainability goals, at Maison and Group (LVMH) level.
- Identify and implement energy efficiency improvements and support the transition to renewable sources.
- Engage with supply base for sustainability analysis and reporting.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes, advising on implications for operations.
- Embed sustainability into business processes and decision-making frameworks.
- Championing sustainability by supporting the development of sustainability policies, programs, and campaigns.
- Support the Glenmorangie Climate strategy and carbon transition program.
- Support the Business Services Director on key energy reduction projects.
- Conduct energy audits and monitor KPIs across all sites.
- Track and monitor progress against sustainability objectives.
- Ensure compliance with sustainability legislative requirements.
- Liaise with external authorities on legal compliance.
- Generate consolidated environmental data reports and analytics in alignment with LVMH standards.
- Engage with relevant internal stakeholders in the organisation to ensure data quality and consistency; improve the quality and availability of data, data collection and data management.
- Ensure that current environmental data and analytics effectively inform business decision-making, enabling effective management & governance to meet reporting requirements with high integrity.
- Responsible for ensuring that efficient sustainability data systems, sources, processes, and tools are developed, implemented, and deployed.
Professional/Technical Experience:
- Proven experience in data analytics with a strong understanding of statistical methods.
- Knowledge of best practices in energy management, sustainable development, and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
- Proficiency in using data management systems and analytics software (e.g., Excel advanced functions, SQL databases).
- Familiarity with global sustainability standards such as GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) or CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project).

Education/Professional Qualifications:
- Degree in relevant subject (Environmental Science, Data Analysis, Sustainability Management or a related field) or demonstrable experience.
- Recognised training and able to demonstrate expertise in the subject; Sustainability, Climate / Energy Management.
