Spirits Administrator

We are an independent family-owned company with a long-standing history, we make exceptional Scottish spirits with an ever-growing portfolio of award-winning single malts, blended malts and natural gins.

We have an opportunity for a Spirits Administrator role, initially to provide support to the sales and production functions with the opportunity of moving fully into a sales support role at the end of a team member’s maternity leave.

You will be the key contact for customers throughout the purchase order process, being responsible for coordinating the transport, administration, certification and invoicing of all international and  UK customer orders:  ensuring a high standard of customer service and compliance with regulations.  You will be responsible for reconciling and managing stock allocations between sales staff and arranging for samples.

You will also be responsible for trade show event management, liaising with the sales and marketing team, collating paperwork and arranging stock supply.

During a period of maternity leave, you will also give support to the spirits bottling and operations team: coordinating spirit movement, reconciling cased and dry goods stock, arranging spirit transport and liaising with bottling plants.

The successful applicant will need to have strong attention to detail, good time-management skills, the ability to prioritise and good customer relation skills.   It would suit someone who thrives as part of a wide-ranging, small and passionate team.  Previous experience in the whisky industry, logistics, stock management and/or Sage would be an advantage, although all necessary training will be provided.
