New Packaging Development Coordinator

Job responsibilities

• Support the NPD team in the development and execution of new product launches and Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM) projects
• Lead the coordination and validation of all product labelling, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and brand guidelines
• Coordinate project timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met efficiently
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Production, Legal, Regulatory) and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution
• Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including specifications, artwork, and approvals
• Assist in the trialling and testing of Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM) internally and with Intertek
• Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for project updates and reviews
• Monitor and track project budgets
• Provide general support to the NPD team as needed.

Profile

Professional/Technical Experience:

• Project Coordination/Management Experience: Demonstrated experience in coordinating projects, ideally within a product development or Marketing environment. Experience with timelines, deadlines, and keeping projects on track is essential
• Experience working with cross-functional teams: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with different departments (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Production, Legal, Regulatory)
• Experience working with external vendors: Experience managing relationships and communication with external suppliers or vendors
• Knowledge of packaging materials: This a key technical requirement
• Understanding of product labelling requirements: Experience with product labelling, particularly regarding regulatory compliance and brand guidelines, is crucial
• Experience with POSM (Point-of-Sale Materials): The role involves testing and trialling POSM, so experience with these materials is key
• Budget Management: Experience with monitoring and tracking project budgets would be advantageous
• Data Management and Documentation: Maintaining accurate records and documentation is a key responsibility, so proficiency in relevant software / PC Skills is paramount.
