Working across the International Beverage Spirits portfolio, this role will be crucial in driving brand awareness, education, engagement and growth across Europe in both the on and off trade channels.
This dynamic role requires a passionate and knowledgeable individual with a strong understanding of the spirits category to bring our brands to life, deliver advocacy & education in the region with focus on our key markets; UK, France and Germany.
Main Responsibilities
Brand Advocacy & Education
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and provide brand training and education to our third party representatives, customers and distributors so that they are equipped to represent our brands effectively,
- Collaborate with the Channel Marketing and Brand Teams to develop and bring brand campaigns to market through storytelling development, masterclasses and events,
- Execute brand education materials and deliver compelling tastings, masterclasses and seminars to educate and inspire key stakeholders,
- Host key market guests and VIPs at our Distilleries and Brand Homes,
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and consumer festivals
- Identify potential brand and trade partnerships that would help build brand saliency among consumers & customers,
- Enhance the understanding of cocktail culture within the organisation, this includes working on and developing drink strategies as well as training, presentations and social media content.
Sales Support
- Support distribution and seek opportunities through understanding and driving business needs
- Work closely with local sales teams to identify key opportunities in the On and Off Trade, with consideration of halo accounts, on-trade communities and champions in key European markets
- Through regular reporting, provide structured feedback from the consumers / customers & markets to assist our Brand Management, Sales and NPD functions in assessing relevant consumer and trade trends that will help inform brand strategy and product development
Brand Stewardship
- Ensure Brand consistency and integrity across all touchpoints
- Act as the brand guardian, ensuring that all communications and activities reflect brand values, positioning and tone of voice.
About You
Personal Attributes
- Hands-on bartending experience and be proficient in cocktail development and service with thorough practical understanding of on-trade environment
- Excellent understanding of the wider spirits industry, be familiar with and passionate about spirit categories and the landscape of key brands
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously
- High levels of energy with the ability to think creatively
- Strong interpersonal, communication & presentation skills
Professional Requirements
- Qualified to a degree level would be an advantage but not essential
- French and/or German language an advantage but not compulsory
