As HR Business Partner, you will provide commercial HR support and partnership to key stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of our people promise, projects, and initiatives. Your role involves implementing HR projects, driving company-wide initiatives, offering strategic HR advice, and building strong relationships with business leaders that align with our people and business objectives. By staying updated on HR best practices, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes, supporting the company success.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the non-operational functions of the business, which include Marketing, Commercial, Finance, Corporate Affairs, Hospitality, and Whisky Creation.
- Accountable for the delivery of HR projects/ initiatives within your business area.
- Provide expert HR advice to ensure that changes are understood and embedded.
- Highlighting to the Head of HR where areas of the organisational structure might need to be adapted.
- Ownership of the budget for the headcount planning in your business areas.
- Carry out career conversations with employees below Senior management to support their mobility process and internal progression.
- Coach managers on best practice selection processes and creating recruitment processes to ensure that we are being inclusive and maximising the opportunities to all candidates.
- Accountable for ensuring that all employee relations cases are managed effectively.
- Support the ICR process for your business areas, coaching managers on holding effective compensation conversations.
- Coach line managers through employee relations issues and being a confidential sounding board.
- Anticipate trends both internally and externally that may require your business area to adapt to new ways of working.
Professional/Technical Experience:
- Relevant qualifications or demonstrated experience in HR
- Strong analytical skills focused on data analysis, interpretation and presentation
- Outstanding communication skills both written and oral
- Competent PowerPoint and Excel skills
