Are you passionate about crafting unforgettable experiences and events that build engagement and bring people together? This opportunity will see you lead the implementation of the William Grant & Sons internal events programme for the global business, building culture and colleague advocacy within the Company. With a focus on Company-wide and Executive Board led events, you will ensure we unite colleagues, build leadership visibility and celebrate the heritage, iconic brands and Rare Characters in the business.

Main Responsibility

  • Develop and lead the Company’s internal event experiences programme for the global business as a key member of the Global Corporate Communications leadership team.
  • Work with multiple stakeholders across the business to co-ordinate agendas, content and media for events.
  • Bring industry best practice into the events programme, delivering engaging and innovative in-person, virtual and hybrid event experiences across the Company for owned events.
  • Own and nurture supplier relationships with event suppliers to ensure best in class agency support and optimum value received for the Company for all spend.
  • Ensure events demonstrate behaviours and representation in line with our Diversity, Equity & inclusion ambition.
  • Ensure an optimum balance between emerging digital capability and face-to-face events to maximise engagement.
  • Build a clear focus on continuous improvement in our approach to events, based on measurement and insight.
  • Build close relationships with brand and marketing teams to ensure best practice is shared and utilised across our broader Company events programme.
  • Document clear and consistent processes for our events as part of the William Grant Way Operating Model.
  • Manage delivery against budget for aligned events ensuring value for money for the Company.
  • Offer advice and support to leaders and speakers to upskill them in delivering engaging content in event settings.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Deep experience of leading and delivering premium global events in a larger corporate setting.
  • Strong evidence of experience translating business priorities into engaging, high-impact content for events across digital, hybrid and in-person settings.
  • Committed to continuous improvement and using industry best practice to deliver world class solutions.
  • An understanding of the William Grant & Sons history and brand portfolio would be an advantage.
  • Experience of working with agency partners and managing budgets to deliver events within an agreed framework.
  • A strong attention to detail and meticulous approach to content and event production is vital
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, up to and including executive / board level.
