What does an NPD Manager do?
You’ll guide the full product development journey—shaping ideas, testing feasibility, and launching products into the market.
You’ll:
- Translate trends and insights into product ideas
- Coordinate teams across production, branding, and supply
- Oversee timelines, costs, and product testing
- Ensure each product is viable, distinctive, and on-brand
- Be responsible for delivery of NPD projects,

Manage a portfolio of projects and develop all packaging components, working with Procurement, suppliers, quality and production to ensure materials are suitable for movement through the whole supply chain and can be run efficiently and right first time

Run highly complex projects by assembling and managing a cross-functional teams
A typical day could include:
- Reviewing emerging consumer trends
- Leading concept development sessions
- Coordinating product trials with distilling teams
- Aligning with marketing on launch plans
- Managing multiple projects at different stages
